Gordon Medical Associates has earned its reputation as an internationally recognized leader in tackling the most complex health challenges through decades of experience and a unique understanding of mysterious, difficult to diagnose conditions. Our clinic has become the destination of choice for patients facing conditions that demand specialized expertise and cutting-edge care.
Before You Reach Out:
Please take time to review everything on this page. We’ve shared it thoughtfully so you can determine whether our approach feels like the right fit before taking the next step. If it does, we invite you to schedule a complimentary Discovery Call with our New Patient Coordinator.
We are a private medical clinic dedicated to patients with complex, chronic conditions; cases that require a level of depth, time, and clinical nuance beyond conventional care.
Our approach is intentionally designed to support this level of complexity.
This is highly individualized, investigative medicine designed for patients whose care requires precision, integration, and time.
Each Patient Receives:
Extended, in-depth visits (a minimum of 2 hours initial visit and consult)
Comprehensive, systems-based evaluation (immune, infectious, metabolic, neurologic)
Iterative, individualized treatment planning based on response
Regular physician team case reviews for complex cases
Ongoing collaboration with a broader network of physicians, specialty laboratories, and researchers
This allows us to:
Spend meaningful, unrushed time with each patient
Engage in deep clinical reasoning and case synthesis
We have chosen this structure to preserve the quality, flexibility, and depth required to care for medically complex patients.
We are not contracted with insurance.
Working with our clinic represents a meaningful financial investment over time.
Before reaching out, we ask that you consider whether this level of investment feels aligned and sustainable for you. We do not want patients to overextend themselves financially in order to work with us.
Your Investment Reflects:
Our clinic is best suited for patients who:
This may not be the right fit if:
If this is the case, we want to support you in finding another path forward.
Free Resources
We are deeply committed to advancing the care of complex chronic illness beyond our clinic.
Many patients choose to work with a local physician, share our educational resources, and apply elements of our clinical approach in a more accessible setting. We strongly encourage this if direct care with our clinic is not feasible.
We provide extensive free education for both patients and physicians through:
We recognize that access to this level of care is not available to everyone. Our intention is to provide an exceptional level of care to those we work with directly and to contribute meaningfully to the broader medical and patient community through education. Both are central to our mission.
The first step is to schedule a Discovery Call. This is an opportunity for you to speak with a New Patient Coordinator who can help answer many of the questions you have about working with us. They’ll review the process, cost, and help guide you to the practitioner who is best suited for your care.
No. Our New Patient Coordinators are not medical professionals but they are highly knowledgeable of our practitioners, their specialties, and various testing and treatment methods that are used within the practice. They WILL NOT be able to tell you which tests or treatments the practitioner might recommend for you.
Due to the complex nature of the cases we treat, we have an approval process in place to ensure that Gordon Medical is an appropriate fit for your care. This process begins following your Discovery Call with our team.
Yes, you can complete your intake appointment over video and, depending on your practitioner, continue care without visiting in person. An in-person exam is preferred by all practitioners to best treat your illness, and some cases require longer visits for treatment and testing in person.
If this is not possible, our practitioners can still consult with you, but may be limited in the scope of what they are able to offer and success rates are lower than patients who visit for an exam and/or treatment.
In order to be able to offer you the best care possible, without the limitations imposed by insurance companies, we offer our services on an out of pocket basis only. All services provided are expected to be paid for in full at the time of service.
We have opted out of medicare.
We do not bill insurance directly, however you will be provided with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Coverage is dependent on your specific insurance company’s policy. We have seen some patients have good experiences receiving insurance reimbursement assistance through American Medical Health Alliance. Most insurance is minimal.

Initial appointments last approximately two hours. Chronic illness is a constellation of symptoms that is a consequence of your body’s unique response to events. Your practitioner needs your full story, laboratory data, and (when possible) a physical exam to create a treatment plan.
To develop a successful treatment plan, they must have the knowledge of your experience to connect the dots.
This is the art of medicine that we at Gordon Medical are known for.
While it’s different for every practitioner, there is availability from 2 weeks to 2 months in advance.
