I've been with Gordon Medical as a patient since 2008. At every appointment all staff members over the years have ALL EXCEEDED the norm of customer service. I travel 2.5 hours for my appointments. The information, care and cutting edge treatments over the years have kept me here when many times I was set to expire. I'm sure this is the most respectful, clean, and calm office from which to continue your life. And that is a rarity. My relationship with my Doctor there, as a single woman is paramount. I am heard. Metabolic features of chronic fatigue syndrome - NAVIAUX’S METABOLISM PAPER IS ABOUT AS BIG AS YOU THINK - For those who are wondering at the results and their implications, Naviaux’s study in a nutshell states that the cells of ME patients are in a sort of protective hibernation, limiting their consumption of resources and engaging in a hypometabolic state as a response to infection or other stressors. By examining patients’ metabolites in detail, it was found that this degree of protective hibernation correlates directly to clinical severity. Naviaux also posits that cells in ME/CFS are cells under enormous stress, for which they create a series of defenses, metaphorically installing a superior lock and alarm system and hiding all the valuables. However, some pathogens know the code to get in, and when the resources are hidden, the host can’t use them, either. I've been seeing Dr. Kunkle for over a year. I was living (well, more like suffering) from undiagnosed lyme disease and multiple co-infections for a very.long.time. Since my job in the medical field gave me a false sense of security that I have access to the best medical care - I feel very let down by my own field. I lost almost everything including my life because of so many misdiagnoses over the years which prevented me from treating the actual underlying cause of all of my suffering. I feel better now than I have in over 20 years. Why western medicine decides to let this pandemic fall thru the cracks is beyond me. These infections aren't new. The are causing other illnesses If I knew then what I know now I would have had lyme and coinfections testing done starting years ago. And not by outdated testing methods that have more than half false negative results. Dr. Kunkle knows which modern labs are able to test with better accuracy. Lyme disease isn't only from getting a tick bite - there are other vectors. And Lyme is found in California, in fact it's found in every state. And if you do get a tick bite there's a good chance if it is lyme there are other serious coinfections that often accompany lyme. This is my PSA - if you're reading my review you're probably sick and tired of being sick and tired. Invest in your health. You're worth it - and once you feel better you can be there for your loved ones again.

I am a patient of Doctor Parpia & have seen the team's body techs. I am from New York & traveled 3,000 miles to come to this facility & I am so happy with my decision. I am being treated for Lyme disease (neuro components), gut issues, mold, & some other co infections. It is only mid way my treatment & I am already seeing amazing results with my symptoms. Dr. Parpia makes you feel very comfortable, she actually listens to you, meets with you on a weekly basis, & adjust things accordingly. This facility has an amazing integrative team.
